Demonstrations

Demonstrations Chair: Ron Crocker, Motorola, Inc.

As at OOPSLAs past, the live demonstrations this year are an outstanding display of the application of OO technology to real problems. The demos this year run the gamut, covering different languages (Java, C++, Smalltalk), application areas (frameworks, development environments, and simulation systems) and environments (mobile, home, office, IS). The demos will focus on the novel and interesting technical aspects of the system of interest. These are not sales presentations, but are demonstrations of real live OO in action given by the people who actually build OO systems.

Demonstration presentations at OOPSLA are typically a brief overview/introductory presentation followed by a hands-on display of the technology in action. The demonstrations are 45 minutes long, and all have been schedule twice, once on Tuesday and once on Wednesday. Enjoy the presentations, and ask the presenters lots of hard-driving, technical questions - they're more than qualified to answer them!

All demonstrations are held in the Convention Center on Tuesday and Wednesday.
