The OOPSLA Conference Committee and ACM SIGPLAN will sponsor a set of colocated workshops on "Applied Object Technology", June 16-17, 1997 in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York. The purpose of this new event is to bring together people who are working on the application of object technology to the critical problems in major industrial domains: telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, realtime systems, finance, insurance - as well as object models for business transaction systems.

Airline Information:

Shuttle from Washington DC or Boston - a 15% discount off the unrestricted coach fare traveling round-trip to New York. No minimum stay. Ticket cannot be purchased at the airport.

Registration:

Each workshop has limited attendance and requires submission of a position paper. Submissions must be received by April 1, 1997. Notification of acceptance will be by April 15, 1997. Please see the descriptions of the individual workshops for details.

The workshop registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks on Monday and Tuesday.
