educators' symposium

monday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
convention centre, room 1

Chair:
Mary Lynn Manns
University of North Carolina at Asheville

The Educators Symposium provides a forum for educators and trainers from both academia and industry to share ideas and talk with others who face similar challenges. This year's event has more emphasis than ever on "sharing". There are quite a few presenters, providing less time for each presentation, but allowing more ideas to be communicated. Even those who are not presenting will have the opportunity to be heard. All attendees are encouraged to bring their best ideas and their biggest challenges to informally display on cork boards which will be available for viewing and discussing throughout the day. Other activities include facilitation exercises and an open microphone time. With all this sharing, everyone will get much more out of the day than is shown in this program!
