OOPSLA `99 provides the opportunity to mingle with the recognized leaders in object technology. To provide the opportunity to meet in a more casual setting, a number of social activities are planned. Name badges will be required to attend events.
Tutorial and Workshop Reception -
Adam's Mark Hotel
Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
A reception open to anyone who attends at least one tutorial or one workshop will be held at the Adam's Mark Hotel.
Welcome Reception -
Colorado Convention Center
Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30pm
All full (and Tuesday one-day) conference registrants are invited to attend the Welcome Reception. OOPSLA participants are encouraged to view the OOPSLA `99 Poster Papers during the Welcome Reception. The reception will be held in the Lobby Area.
Exhibitor's Reception -
Colorado Convention Center
Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00pm
All full (and Wednesday one-day) conference registrants are invited to an Exhibitor Reception to be held in the Exhibit Hall of the Colorado Convention Center.
Wings Over The Rockies Evening
Thursday 7:00 to 10:00pm
Against the backdrop of Wings Over the Rockies Museum at Lowry Air Force Base, with its natural ambiance and intriguing planes, you will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow delegates while sampling fare from "around-the-world" food stations...dance to the rhythms of a live Swing Band...and test your combat skills on a virtual, flight simulation battle. |
