Travel Support

As an invitee of the SIGPLAN PLC Workshop, funds from our generous sponsors will cover all or part of your travel to and accomodations for the workshop.

Transportation: We will cover reasonable transportation expenses (airfare/train tickets) to and from Boston for all non-local participants.

Hotel: For each non-local participant, we will cover up to three hotel nights at up to $200 plus tax. If funds allow it, we will cover up to $249 plus tax. We have reserved a block of rooms at this higher rate at a hotel within walking distance of the workshop venue and the dinner location. A link to the reservation systems for this hotel and block of rooms is available below. Alternatively, you can select another hotel; Harvard is connected to the Boston subway system via the Red Line on the T.

Ground Transportation: We will cover ground transportation for attending the workshop, e.g., taxi from the airport to the hotel (but not rental cars).

Please plan to attend both days of the workshop in their entirety (8:30AM-5:30PM, breakfast at 8AM).

After the workshop but before July 15, please submit your original receipts* for incurred expenses via mail to our ACM liaison, Ginger Ignatoff, at the following address:
