What is SIGPLANet?   SIGPLANet is a web resource for the Programming Languages community, including programming language users, developers, implementers, theoreticians, researchers and educators. It includes an annotated index of programming languages topics, definitions of key concepts, technical overviews, as well as references to related material. Read the SIGPLANet white paper for more details.
What is SIGPLAN?   SIGPLANet is sponsored by SIGPLAN, a Special Interest Group of the Association for Computing Machinery that focuses on Programming Languages (SIG-PLAN).  The term “Programming Languages” encompasses not only the languages by which we program computers, but also topics such as language design, type theory, compilers and implementation techniques, optimization, program analysis, etc.
